PARENT AND BABY YOGA WORKSHOP

Welcome to a nourishing afternoon with your baby.
This workshop is for mothers and/or fathers who would like to take time to connect with their baby while filling their own cup. Family time to bond and rest and a chance to find a deeper well of patience and trust from which to parent.

Deeply restorative yoga poses to nurture new parents
Experience simple yoga poses that help open through your chest, lengthen your back, and release the neck and shoulders (the antidote to all that bending over baby). Strengthening poses that will support areas that may have been weakened by pregnancy (for mums) and deeply restorative poses that nourish all new parents.
You’ll practice breathing techniques (Pranayama) that can help you parent more calmly and consciously, as well as some simple infant massage techniques to use in your bedtime routines.
This workshop does not require any previous yoga experience just a willingness to be present and open to connection.
Options for one parent with baby to attend, or add on the second parent so you can come as a family (you’ll have to share the baby!). Babies under one year ,however toddlers can come for free if there is a second parent/carer in attendance.
$40 for one parent + baby, $10 for an extra parent (and toddler).
