At Bliss Baby Yoga, we are constantly seeking new ways to support our community, so that you can share this important work with your own communities.
We recognise that not everyone is in a position to pay the same amount, and not everyone has the same proximity and level of access to resources, financial or other. We want to remove as many barriers to learning as we possibly can. That’s why we have scholarships available, depending on your financial situation, social location* and relative proximity to privilege and resources.
If you are in receipt of some form of income support and/or finding it hard to meet your basic costs you may wish to get in touch with us for a “community” price or scholarship, which is a subsidised rate for those in need of financial assistance.
You may be teaching yoga on a voluntary basis or in community settings without substantial additional income, earn your income in a currency that is disadvantaged by the conversion to Australian Dollars, or belong to an underserved population, including those who are Black, Indigenous or People of Colour (BIPOC), members of the LGBTQIA+ community, or those with disabilities or chronic illness, who are commonly underrepresented in yoga and wellness spaces.
Should the above apply, please e mail us at [email protected] explaining your current situation and the course you are interested in, marking the title of your e mail “Scholarship”.
We consider each application individually and will look to reply with a suitable scholarship rate that we hope will make our course affordable to you.
We also ask you to remember that Bliss Baby Yoga is a small company and every enrolment makes a difference to the work we can do. We trust that you will support the integrity of our offer, and consider your relative access to resources when asking us to consider you for a scholarship.
We are based on the yogic principle of Ahimsa (kindness towards the self and others) and wish to acknowledge this through our pricing.
